He gave Pop 2 a 7 and this a decent to strong 9? What a weird take. I genuinely thought that this project had its fair share of enjoyable pop songs and I agree to an extent with his opinions, but Pop 2 is far more consistent effort in my opinion. To each their own, I guess but I think he may have been a little too generous honestly.

Holy shit. Was not expecting such a huge difference of quality between this track and the last one. My biggest problem with the last track was the production. Even though it was an enjoyable surf gothic rock fusion, the vocals really stood bare in the context of the rest of the song. This song does everything a lot better. A smooth follow-up to the last song. Loving the production on here, especially the beat. Q-tip can do no wrong. The song doesn’t necessarily hook me as much as some of Danny’s other songs, but nonetheless it’s a fun song with no particular flaws that come to mind.
