What a complete waste of time and data. This sounds like they tried to make the worst sounding garbage possible. This literally sounds like a parody. The “deadpan” delivery sounds like someone who can’t sing haphazardly groaning over basic guitar riffs talking about stupid random shit. Music critics wonder why nobody takes them seriously anymore.
Zelly was on another level with this one. His fucked up vocals work really well in this 2010’s mixtape style theme DJ Phat brings.

This felt incredibly amature for a guy like Offset. He was making more polished sounding music 10 years ago.

Sera's confession was legitimately beautiful even if I had no idea what they were talking about, but the rest of this just sounds like a mash of unbareable amature pop music with people doing obnoxious character voices. A lot of these songs just sound like exposition dumps and are hard to enjoy without context.
I think Amiri is a great hook writer here. This tape has some of the best earworms of all of 2023, however, I can't shake the feeling that this guy is just another 10k records corprate experiment. This tape is almost too polished to the point where it starts to feel a bit sterilized.
I feel almost completely indefferent to this album. Nothing rich does here impressed me or made me feel anything. I wasn't bored or entertained, I was kinda just in a limbo of the same rich amiri melodies and rage type beats. Intro track is fire tho.
This started off really hot but got draining the longer I listened. If this guy could just hire a compitent engineer this would probably go up like 10-15 points.
