me after i retreat to a vampire bat ridden cave with a copy of rumours by fleetwood mac and never for ever by kate bush on a walkman, only to return to civilisation a year later having composed the best song of all time
what an absolutely incredible body of work, it is such a pleasure as a fan to watch halsey's artistry develop over the years and reach new creative peaks with every era, both sonically and visually. thank you for sharing this piece of art with us.
hey guys, long time no speak. i just released my 2nd ever instrumental project :) would really appreciate if you gave it a listen and i would love to hear your thoughts on it :)
never listened to anything by them before but had a great time from start to finish, definitely recommend.
this is probably the closest rival kelela has had for that AOTY crown this year so far. absolutely stunning body of work from front to back.
yes, i can name 5 tinashe songs (more than, in fact). i cannot however name 5 chris brown songs that use a different melody.
well the cover art definitely matches her soul i'll say that. feels like it goes without saying but pls do not support terfs.
easily one of my favourite first listens of the year. effortlessly slick, cool and sultry and i've not been able to tear myself away from it since i first heard it and have listened to it on repeat front to back around 12 times now. she absolutely killed it.
the last song kind of threw me off, otherwise this EP is absolutely perfect.
really love the way she blends the genres on this album, such a feel good and fun pop album and you can really tell fleetwood mac were a sonic inspiration. huge step up from better mistakes.
