Really not a bad album, very polished and consistent, just lack some things, mainly changing a little bit some elements of the songs. But then, even the not actually good songs aren't bad, just not reaching up to their full potential. Snow is really a meh song tho, can't believe it's the album's highest score.
Surprisingly decent. You know, there is a lot of trash and uninspired songs here, but a lot of fun songs too.
The album is not, like, full impactul, but when it hits it hits hard. And those who don't hit as hard at least are very pleasent to hear, so it really doesn't have a bad moment at all.
Bem melhor do que pensei que seria nessa revisita. Não é um álbum ruim, só peca no foco e na quantidade de faixas desnecessárias. Seria um projeto bem melhor com 10 faixas e um outro conceito.
Despite all the concept and experimental elements, it remains very much on the same level of basicness, is not necessarily safe, but not as exciting as it could be. The dance moments are really good, tho.
Very fun. The potential is there. It lacks a bit of life, but considering it's a debut EP... she can go far.
A little weak on personality, but quite pleasant and some of the themes are good. I wish Charlie would use his voice more and also bring lively melodies, but that's not his trademark, right?
It's impossible to judge those who don't understand the album because it's a grower one; I needed to listen to it five times to separate, associate, and digest the songs, but it was a very pleasant surprise since the first visit. It's quite emotional and has some very dynamic melodies, and almost everything is well above average if it weren't for two songs that aren't even bad. The only thing that is pushing it back it is its bloated track list.
I wasn't sure if the language would be an advantage or a disadvantage, because I felt it could be harder to connect with the songs, but looking at the big picture, I'd say it's an advantage once I pretty much still liked the vibe. It's very sweet and she really shines in the emotional songs.
There are some positive aspects, but some others that ultimately bring the level down. This doesn't make the experience any less worthy, but it gives me a feeling that it could have been better, which is somewhat unfortunate considering Harry aimed to be more artistic with this release and didn't quite achieve that.
What a well-rounded and enjoyable album. I'm quite surprised. I miss some generic common pop elements, and it's not memorable to me yet, but it has a really cool vibe, show some personality and, honestly, it's more than I expected from her.
One of the last things I expected in 2024 was to like so much of an IRENE release out of so many available artists, but SM made a point by giving her songs that respect her image, vocals and aura. I think it's an interesting project and, within the K-pop universe, very good.
He refuses even to try to serve a personality. It's not offensive, but painfully so.
Guys? I didn't expect this to hit this hard, such a good k-pop album. TTYL was good, but not enough to make me curious to visit it before, but a friend recommended it to me and she couldn't be more right for doing that.
At the time I thought this was one of her best works, but I didn't know shit because she stills very basic and "cringe" this time around. Most of the songs are good-ish, but really nothing special.
