Side B might legitimately be the best side of any album Tatsuro released during his prime, save Ride on Time’s side A. I LOVE the synth sounds on here (they have that Genesis twang!), the melodies are catchy as hell, and there’s tons of attention to detail. The only reason it’s not talked about quite as much as the organic stuff he made is bc this is the last release of his prime & the sound is an adjustment from his previous stuff.

This is a little softer and slower than what I usually look for, but it does have some absolute classics like Resolution, Fly By Day, Flashback Memories, and Last Summer Whisper - and I did listen to this while I was back in Hawaii for the first time since 2014, next to the beach, which was the right environment for it.
