Putting the fun in funeral.
I'd been putting this off since I was already behind on 2025 releases and part of me was skeptical this would be a good farewell to one of my most beloved musical acts. I should never have doubted them though, this is awesome. A lively, beautiful, groovy mediation on life. Top tier features, with Black Thought being my MVP. Absolutely nuts titles track sample flip.
Anything Barretto does is awesome. Love that you can tell this came out in the late 70s any time a fretless bass or Casio keyboard poke through the timeless latin rhythms. "Ya Ves" is probably the coolest songs ever.
