Absolutely awful. Terrible lyrics and bad production. Not many redeeming features here
Not sure why this has such bad reviews. Black Marble aren't pushing the envelope or doing anything out of the ordinary in this latest LP but this is full of solid dancy synth pop songs. The arrangement of the instruments are great and I find the monotonous vocals quite catchy in most songs.
This is exactly what I've been looking for all year. Finnish Black Metal is definitely my favourite style of BM and this release encapsulates it perfectly with its harsh, raw and aggressive nature. In A Rotting Memories Grave could be the best black metal song all year.
I don't like this as much as Sleep Well Beast however, it is a great album seemingly with a bit of filler.
Favourite songs: Quiet Light, Where is Her Head, Rylan, Hey Rosey
