It blows my mind how people can actually enjoy this. This album is the equivalent of a person having a wank and finishing on the own chest. Like I get that its cool and different and never been done before, how ever lets not trade that different factor for every other musical factor like song structure, melody, and harmony. Like to me this band is two self indulgent musicians who took a lot of acid.
I really love this, Magdalena Bay are one of the best music acts out there at the moment.
Some parts of this album I like but others I'm just bored. I love some of the instrumentals, how I get extremely bored through out this album, I dislike his voice, I dislike the playing. I don't really think this album has any memorable song writing on it. This whole album is a bit forgettable to me. It does have its own sound, however if this sound/genre where to have a name it would be called "under whelming, smeggy anime kid indie progressive pop rock".
Re-listened to this one, and it still blows my mind.
