With 7 tracks lasting an average length of 5 minutes and 34 seconds, you would think these songs suffer from being too long. However, with the incredible production of Gary Katz, this album is a nonstop vibe machine. It is one of the most fun Jazz Rock albums I’ve heard so far in my life and is the perfect album to put on for multiple occasions. If you’re looking to party and need some good vibes, this album is capable of doing that. If you need something to chill too, this album is ... read more
Well one thing I learned from this album is that industrial rock is not my thing, There is just too much going on in these songs to enjoy it in any way. Then in some tracks it feels like there isn’t enough. The mix off too much and too little does not work on this album, making this album overrated and undeserving of an Apple Top 100 album placement.
This easily is the best Playboi Carti album to date and a catalyst to the incredible work we are getting this year. When this album came out, I thought it was cool but overhated. However once I gave this album a chance to shine, it took the ball and ran with it. Earning a place as one of my favorite albums ever.
For a long time Thriller was my favorite Michael Jackson album. It had all his most popular songs on it and is one of the greatest albums of all time. However, Dangerous is in my opinion the most fun Michael Jackson album he’s ever released. As I’ve grown older I’ve realized I have the most fun listening to this album over Bad and Thriller. Songs like Jam, Remember the Time, and In The Closet are some of my favorite songs period and get me to boogie every time. You also got ... read more
In this album, Benny takes a step back to his rap roots. Despite having such stacked features, the best one comes from Armani Caesar on “Buffalo Kitchen Club.” Which is very surprising because I expected Griselda Express to be the best song but it was actually one of the songs I didn’t like. Despite the few disliked tracks, Benny does a good job of dropping good songs to his catalogue of impressive performances.
Everytime I listen to Benny or Spesh, I feel like such a boss. This album presents the usual Griselda recipe for an album. Murder, drug, and sex talk. Basically like if the Italian mob started making rap music. Here, we see Benny and Spesh rapping their asses off and dropping clever lines as they usually do. When it comes to Benny there’s always such a high ceiling for songs I consider good and playlist worthy. However, he reached that mark more times than he didn’t which makes this ... read more
This isn’t a bad album but this isn’t an album I can listen to if I’m in any other mood that is not the “Lyfestyle” mood. This album is all hype songs. Songs to bounce around to during a concert or to play on aux during a car ride that requires more energy. If you’re angry, this album will help you rage. But if you’re in the mood for anything else this album doesn’t do a great job in switching to a more melodic catering or anything emotional. ... read more
This album was the much needed jump we needed to see from Ian. Despite critiques and fans alike saying he’s ripping from other artists, your favorite artist has or is doing the exact same thing. So let’s throw that argument out the window. The production on this album is much better. Ian’s complementary producer is obviously sxprano. Which is crazy because he is younger than me. Anyways, ian does a good job using his trap flow for a good bunch of bangers and has his more ... read more
This is unironically the first album i’ve ever heard all the way through. This would always get me and the homies turnt up back in 2017. Still hits to this day and I will never hate on this album.
Just not my thing, I understand the appeal it is definitely something that is much better for moshing and partying than to sit down and listen to, which is more my vibe. I would appreciate more effort into the lyrics and a little less going on next time
This album has some really good vibes on it. Some songs drag on for too long but all in all, solid work for his fans to eat with who have never heard this mixtape before.
This might be crazy to say but listening to this album vs. ADLIBGOD, I would say 2sdxrt3all showed much more progression from his first album to here than he did on ADLIBGOD. I’d go as far as to say ADLIBGOD is a huge downgrade to this album. Despite retaining similar flows, the production and effort is shown and emphasized here more than on his recent project, making it much more enjoyable.
This album has sparks of the 2sdxrt3all we know today but it’s poor mixing, poor mastering, and poor production really hinder the listen.
This was the first album I heard from 2sDxrt3all and on the third listen, I am reminded why I became a fan. His adlibs layered behind a strong talk type flow on top of good production really makes this album feel whole and unique to the underground scene at the time. Everyone was trying to be Yeat or Carti but 2sdxrt3all showed a different side of the underground scene with this project.
Won’t show was easily the best song but here Dxrt3all shows why he is so unique in the underground today. He uses his talking flow over great production
This album is much better than ADLIBGOD. I really appreciated the change of flow from Luh Tyler. Instead of using his usual florida Kodak flow, he matched dxrt3all’s flow and did it with his usual florida accent.
A perfect showing of 2sdxrt3all’s sound. A subtle but aggressive slow with violent lyrics and fun adlibs.
