this + a joint is ultimate flow state. fr though if you sit with this album and give it the attention/time it deserves, it's pretty life-changing. definitely not an every day listen, but that's because to listen to this album front to back is an EXPERIENCE. you just gotta sit back and let your mind wander. the instrmentation on this drone record blew me away, as well as the subtle prog rock and folk elements incorporated. while some drone records can drag, these unique elements keep ... read more
a really solid indie pop record! good vibe all around. tracks like “seeing other people” stick out for their funky instrumentation and twee sound, however other tracks seem to drag and fade into the background. i overall really enjoy this album tho! can totally see some simon and garfunkel influence in here but with a fresher, indie rock sound
I went into this album knowing nothing about and I was surprised by the emotionally vulnerability and theatrical elements woven into these songs. This hits hard and I like it a lot. A fantastic debut album from this band. Track 1 is one of the coolest songs I've ever heard.
I like this album! Its chill, its easy to put on in the background and jam to. Frog is a really promising modern folk artist.
love this album and his sound, however to listen to this whole album does get repetitive. gotta respect that he knows his sound and has it down already by his first album. A really beautiful collection of music
this album so doesn't read as country to me lmao. never thought I would be rating a "country" album so highly but I love the chill rock vibes I get from this. Its easy to listen to and easy to love. what a great album to close out his career with.
their best album. love their dreamy, sultry, and at times melancholic vibe. I will always throw this on in the background for some lovely tunes
one of my favorite folk albums of all time. tir na nog if only people knew your masterpiece
