Por Cesárea is remarkable conceptually and instrumentally. Me encanta ദ്ദി
Going into this album, I was intrigued by the genres attached to this project and its high acclaim by users, which is why I checked it out. Without much research, I went into the album anticipating a fusion of horrorcore, alt-rock, neo-soul, and experimental music to tie it all together. In that regard, I was fairly disappointed with the intro, which I think is a decent track altogether, but it ... read more
Not my cup of tea.
I would divide "Boy" into three main varieties: overblown electro-prog, electroclash bangers, and cheesy fuckboy TikTok music. My favourite is the second category, which I think is executed fairly well on this project. With the push of play, it is evident that 2hollis is a great producer with a lot of potential in this soundscape. Tracks such as ||I Saw It Flash Before Me|| and ||3|| are my highlights that are solid electropop hits backed up by intense atmospheres ... read more
Green album? Green score! (And a 90 because I'm feeling generous ッ)
Charli XCX needs no introduction. The innovative singer-songwriter and modern-day princess of pop we all love. This is her 6th full-length LP and the anticipation up to this point was tremendous. Two years after her CRASH era, seemingly "falling off" with a not-so-groundbreaking dance-pop album, Charli solidifies herself back into the industry with BRAT.
Newer Charli XCX has had the vision of pushing the ... read more
HEX DEALER is a merciless high-energy digital disaster... and I say this positively.
Lip Critic is an electronic punk band that I've only recently familiarized myself with, and I must say, this group is a force to be reckoned with. Fusing hardcore punk and digital hardcore with industrial music, Lip Critic has a firm grasp on variety with their sound. It's impressive that within these 12 tracks of madness, a few cohesive elements stitch them together. Whether it be the eclectic ... read more
As a Canadian who lives in an igloo, I can confirm this is our regional music.
IT'S A 10!
...But it has:
○ out-of-wack autotune moments
○ generic emo-pop melodies
○ muddy production
○ a random Deftones ripoff
○ a shitty Uzi feature
○ hardly any structure
○ and c.O.r.n.y- song titles

BLOODY ANGEL is an unfortunate downgrade from Sematary's previous works.
Yeah, I have a minority opinion on this one. It sounds like Sem has stooped down in quality compared to last year's BUTCHER HOUSE; a more refined and minimalist version of his outlandish earlier works that pushed the boundaries of trap music. The mixtape did not take many risks, but it was still a strangely cohesive and amusing collection of tracks backed up by solid drill production. This mixtape however lacks the same ... read more
˚₊‧⁺⋆♱ She Reaches Out to She Reaches Out to She (...) is an excellent breakthrough for darkwave goth.
Let's get into it:
At its core, this new album from American singer-songwriter Chelsea Wolfe is heavily visceral among industrial strings and lavishing horn sections. The crescendos are moving despite it taking loads of time to reach them. But every track, from what I can hear, has a different array of instrumental ideas, so it is not that formulaic of an album.
The pacing is ... read more
🔥 On all fronts, 2093 is an improvement from last year's LP.
Yeat has joined the battle yet again to deliver a selection of rage and industrial-adjacent bops, and it is...well...gratifying. The tracklist is just as long, so going into this album, I was apprehensive about a possible duplicate of AftërLyfe, which I found mediocre at best. But I can confidently say that my preconceptions were entirely wrong.
From the press of play, the production is far more elevated and ear-grabbing ... read more
It is one thing for an artist with the same renowned acclaim as Kanye to flow over time, always evolving, and always trying to innovate for decades to come. Think of David Bowie, Björk, or even Jay-Z. And then it is another when someone, like Kanye, falls out of his prime and proceeds to drop an album that regurgitates everything he has already done in the worst way imaginable when he could have changed his vision a little bit.
I would argue that DONDA is a more inspiring and cohesive ... read more
Whew. This is my first Glass Beach experience, and I can say there is talent and potential within the works
PLASTIC DEATH envisions a prog rock / psychedelic rock landscape. Plenty of key highlights on this album are spontaneous and catchy, such as groovy slap bass and gorgeous crescendoes, namely in tracks like |Puppy| and |Rare Animal|. Even some shorter tracks are quite ear-grabbing and prove that the band can perform what they aim to perform within a specific time restriction. The constant ... read more
Wow, this is downright angelic.
Sampha's LAHAI is an outstanding take on alternative R&B, an inspirational piece of work with a delectable tracklist. This is mainly because of the delicate production surrounding the album, such as skittering percussion and piano melodies, and there is a lot of punch to the songwriting throughout. It is artsy and philosophical but not pretentious in any way, the passion of this album is genuine and written exceptionally, and to amp it up even more, Sampha's ... read more

Afterlyfe is a letdown but simultaneously reveals a new load of potential for him.
Yes, AfterLyfe is bloated, and a good chunk of tracks could be removed for more of a worthwhile experience, but this album is mostly tolerable. Colossal production choices exist on this album where Yeat blends rage, experimental cloud rap, and occasionally, psychedelic rock (?). There are abrasive cuts as well with fluctuating bass and trippy melodies, and the atmosphere throughout is ... read more
NOICE 👌🏻
Considering the 16-track duration, I thought DID YOU KNOW THERE'S A TUNNEL would be a snoozefest—especially with its chamber aesthetic—but surprisingly, the LP is an engaging record of alternative pop. Lana is a remarkable vocalist and nearly every track shines the spotlight on her vocals and songwriting. The stories throughout are heavily personal: examinations of family issues, death, sexual assault, and suicidal thoughts. This album is like a complete trauma dump, ... read more

INTEGRATED TECH SOLUTIONS is one of Aesop's most intriguing conceptual ideas, taken into the direction of consumerism, technology, and our ecological downfall as a society.
Aesop tackles both abstract and conscious hip-hop with many well-produced and impressively performed tracks on this one. There are comedic cuts scattered about, creating a joyous, upbeat experience, even with its bleak themes. The beats are awesome. But ... read more
