Weirdly bland for a Jungle single. Same DNA as their usual stuff but more timid.
One of the few bands that I can enjoy metal from but maybe I'm just a glizzard glazer. Plenty of thrashy animated melodies that blend perfectly with the cult-like vocals. Despite the apocalyptic themes it's still has that typical king gizzard flavour of having fun, all over the album.
Album full of spacey but crisp tracks that sets itself apart from the vast majority of current electronic music. The occasional extra groovy tune keeps the experience moving along without dredging on too much.
Some fun moments and a solid synth-rock foundation but the basic song structures hold it back. Overall nothing to write home about.
