Calm beautiful lo-fi production here that is extremely chill, sprinkled in with some energetic tracks here and there. Amazing rapping from freddie gibbs as expected. Only big complaint is that the songs feel a little bit samey

This was my most unique first album listen as I listened on a plane to Germany. I don't know what to say about this album. This is definitely Rocky's most energetic album to date largely abandoning the cloud rap style. There's a lot of experimental energetic beats on here, which were interesting I guess, but not very good. This is a collaboration between rapper Rx Papi and producer Yung Gud. This album features some emotional verses talking about the struggles of growing up in the streets with an absent father figure. The emotion is especially shown on the intro track, 12 Stout street, which is easily the best song on this album. This album presents Danny Brown in an extremely horrible mental state, filled with constant drug addiction. The production on this album features an extremely chaotic style that definitely takes some getting used to, but when it clicks, is when you get some extremely beautiful production that really shows off Danny Brown's mental state. I had other albums planned before this, but since i was in the mood i decided to listen to this album. This album is very strange, the production feels very minimalist a lot of the time but in a good way. It has a very chaotic, beautiful and sad vibe to it. The vocal performances from Frank ocean are pretty great and this album doesnt include any features other than some background adlibs from Kanye on White Ferarri. This is an album I've wanted to do for quite a while and while its pretty good, i expected more from this. I believe this is a bit overrated and suffers from the dilemna of every song being a 7-9 and not having any full on standouts. This album has a pretty classic and calm feel to it and Mos Def's rapping and flow on this is pretty cool but nothing crazy in my opinion.

This album is just kinda boring, follow god is a banger but the rest of the songs all sound the same with a pretty boring style, atleast it sounds finished and is pretty short which also makes it better than donda.

Overhated album its really not that bad, i expected the second half of this album to sound as unfinished as bomb but imo it sounds about as finished as most donda songs, but v2 songs having more personality, the album overall being shorter and having some hits makes it a better album imo

this album is just mid followed by a pretty great song. theres a couple bangers on this but overall a pretty ass album

I went into this expecting a fun upbeat style but came out largely disappointed, i think this is very overrated and i wouldnt really recommend this. This album in a way feels like a bad tlop and a lot of these songs are pretty bland with no value to them, the first 2 tracks gave me hope but then it takes a very slow calm route that i didnt enjoy very much. the gospel songs on this also just add no value and just feel out of place.
