If I've learned anything from this, and other albums I've heard this month, it's that I have absolutely no idea what kind of music 'isn't my thing'.
This was one that I thought really wouldn't be for me and isn't my kind of music, but I thoroughly enjoyed how it invited me into its world.
I don't have the widest of musical horizons, so, to get started on a journey of discovery, I've been going through the Must Hear albums on this website (among others). And so far, this one is my absolute favorite. And honestly, I can even see my rating going up over time.
I hated it at first. Just isn't my kind of music and it felt way too random and chaotic to me (I know that kinda comes with the territory). But I kinda warmed up to it and ended up feeling some of the songs.
40's = Meh
Not a bad debut album at all and there was definitely a time in my life when I would've enjoyed this album more, had I heard it back then.
But right now, I'm not super into it. It's not terrible and has its moments for sure, but as a whole it's not that great.
