Already given various listens to this and I think without a doubt this is probably one a of the best works of art from the year and probably in recent time, just amazingly beautiful in ways that havent been done in a long time in pop and in the industry
the album works as a maximalist aproach about Rosalia´s feelings in recent times, love, fame, death, desire and her conecction with the divine, her spirituality and its just delightful to me.
The mix of flamenco, clasical music, ... read more
Third album and the farest and closest we have been of understanding and knowing Rosalia
Here she takes completly different turn in her sound going for popier and latin sounds with the electronic and experimnetal tones that we were already seeing in the previous album, but for the first time in the three instances these songs are completly hers, not reinterpretations of other songs or works of art, here we have a closer insight in her thoughts and feelings and even in her life in a sound that ... read more
Second album from Rosalia and this THIS is for me how after that debut that I said she presented herself as a singer in this one she presents as the artist that she is.
As I understad this work is her thesis project from university, an adaptetion to a concept album of a novel named Flamenca, here she explores the themes of love, abuse, toxicity in relationships and kind of the empowerment in leaving them.
In 11 track she tells the story about a tumultuous love between to lovers, each track a ... read more
Before anything I´d like to say I have a weak spot for Rosalia I enjoy pretty much antything she does
Now with that said before Lux is out i wanted to revisit all her previous albums starting with what her debut and probably her most unkown and for me the most underratted of her
Los Angeles is for me her way of proving herself as a singer with what she knew and as an ode to her roots.
With a very minimalistic production and the sounds consisting mostly in her voice and a guitar that ... read more
What i like the most of Daniel me estas matando is how the bring new listeners to the genre
one that is kind of seald to only be listened by your parents or grandparents
that and the way they try to polay and bend the limits of the genre
a great thing if you like boleros or want to start to listen to some this album is a great choice and the band too
the only problem for me i think is that it has an execive number of interludes that it ends up tiring me and i think interrupts the flow of the ... read more
This was the first beyonce album that i gave a listen and it was a great choice
yhe first act of three about retaking or resignifying genres that were part of black culture and also what it seems as retaking herself the place and position that she is known about
the album has one of the best producctions ever smooth and even with the length you dont get tired of the upbeat rythm
one to listen before every party to put you in the best mood
idc its the album of a movie it still is great and i listen to it form time to time and yesterday that i watched the movie again rememberd why i liked it a lot and big part is the music
great thing and it has oscar isaac so even better
El Guincho I think is one of the best producers that we have in recent times
and this album proves it the tropical and fun sounds mixed with a rockish base really well done
probably one of my favorite albums in spanish and of all time a great fun to listen anytime but better if its summer haha
Havent heard a lot of lana besides NFR! and Born to die and this was a really great expirience
I liked a lot the kind of nostalgic and melancolic sound with i think every song a piano as the principal instrument accompanying lana's voice and sounded great
lyrics mostly personal and with pretty heavy themes that match really well the sound the album has
great album
Great lofi and kinda nostalgic for me
original and lyrics sad and reletable
everything you need from this type of records i'll listenf more from this band for sure
The only aproach to country music beofre listening to cowboy carter and really liked this one
the lyrics felt so reletable and personal more than one of the songs hit really close
and maybe for what I see and read it isnt a really country country album but still felt close enough for me to think that maybe i should listen to more country as I kinda like the genre especially the ballads
Well i think i expected more of this after all that was said about it and I'm kind of disappointed after listening to it
It IS a good album dont get me wrong just wasnt as great as I guess everything I was seeing and hearing about it
It is catchy funny and manny of the songs get stuck in yout and in that part of pop music has everything just wasnt great for me, it laked that extra thing idk if in the production in lyrics or the delivery of songs itself just didnt seem as something great ... read more
I'm not really avid to country music as i haven't heard much and not taken the time to get into it and the first time a listened i didnt even finish it as it didint get my interest in the album but since it won the grammy i gave it a second chance and now i liked the album a lot it felt that it had the escence of what it country music is but also a refreshing aproach to it with al this bending of the genre that she makes

This album depicts the teen angst but also all this struggle of being a young person with the doubts fears and emotions that you usually expirience in high school/college and I loved it
also the instrumental and production is amazing and really fitting for the escence and lets say story the album wants to say
just liked pretty much everything about it and this is probably my second favorite album from csh
we gays and theys are eating good with club electronic music
this was a blizz to listen
with a bjorkish essence FKA Twigs brings an eclectic expirience with this album
after Magdelene (probably one of the best albums ever) this is a great next proyect bringing the mystical and celestial sounds that caracterize her to a more industrial and futuristic one that i LOVED
and lyrics to sustain the motto of Eusexua the adicttion or the pursue of happines in love and sex
really a great album Twigs ... read more
Probably my favorite from last year a refresing an addictive synth pop album
with a narrative about love and distinct aspects of it while the music that feels froms the 80s and from some kind of futuristic matrix
every track is one word listening and the experience of listening it the album in order is great
loved it
This album is one of a kind
Beutifully made with an instrumental that I could talk for hours
and lyrics that can make want to cry for hours
this is what music is for to connect with it in a deeper more intimate level
where myabe we dont and will never know where the inspiration of any of this came from but still be able to undersatnd and empathize with it
Black country new road is a band that deserved and needs as much recognition as possible
This is what personally was really hoping and expecting Ethel to go to
After all the discourse around Preachers Daugther as well as how Ethel herself took most of it this feels as the best step she could take
Horror gut wrenching ambient album that hunts you from start to end
A ride to what could seem hell itself
The amount of interpretation this can have is extencive but I go by how this perverted love(s) that the different characters tell could be also seen as how religion makes many of the ... read more
I love how on recent times flamenco is expiricing kind of a rebird and new experimentation by all this Spanish artists
This being one of the best examples on how it can merge with more industrial sounds and also with genres like R&B and reggeaton
It also has a production that I think is delightful
The album takes you in a kind of insane trip with its varios paces and the genres mentioned showing how much Ralphie Choo and in general this new wave os spanish speaking artists can
