For me Yanqui U.X.O. is godspeed's best album, it is by far their most immersive and powerful. The power of the album is put to good use with this album being one of their most politically charged, supporting an anti-war and anti-capitalist message. It is also one of their most straight forward release, getting rid of field recordings and movements, leaving the listener with only the raw emotion provoked by the album.
