‘real house’ has been one of my favorite openings in a long time, perfectly gut wrenching and got me teary eyed on every listen. emotionally crushing and beautiful vocals. i appreciate how her voice was the center of the album, but the instrumentals could’ve been more interesting.
what an incredible showcase of lyricism and producing. every song is unique and intense
billie has absolutely defined far better what her style is, and sounds the most polished she’s ever been sound-wise. unfortunately i don’t find lyrically this album has as much to say that hasn’t been expressed better in her previous work.
consistently fantastic, and while not as innovative as igor, tyler still kills it. deluxe tracks compliment the rest of the album's themes perfectly. effortlessly pulls you into a story and tells it well. wish there was a bit more variety in sound but it didn't get repetitive.
felt kind of hollow honestly. really wished i liked this more because of how much i liked reinsurance but this style is really not up my alley, and i felt she only had good chemistry with a few of the features (of which there are many). bodyguard stood out as particularly good, but near the end i found myself just wishing to get to the next song.
has this classic garage sound that still sounds polished. while i wasnt a fan of every single song, and the sound can get a bit repetitive, there are some really good hits in here.
i really really really wish i liked this more. i think willow actually has a lot of potential to become her own musician rather than ride the nepo baby wave, but this album just feels so unfocused in its sound it leaves it with a bland taste. its unique during the listening but of all the directions shes taken this is the weakest.
i will not remember this album three minutes from now. sorry. fine when i was listening to it though.
type of album that feels like a new experience every time you listen. impossible to put down once you get sucked into its character. beautifully rich production sound. perfectly paced and vibrant to listen for nearly the entire run time.
big man was a strong start for an album that unfortunately just didn’t do much new. the skrillex collaboration felt natural but runaway was just decent
overall solid, but i feel the last few tracks didnt live up to the highs of the first few. still a good hyperpop experience with a good balance of chaos and pretty catchy
has some really solid tracks and great production and overall sound, but dragged at certain points. sheep theme was done well and even with limited lyrics got across the tone of the album
concise and excellent, knows how to pace and keep things interesting
min'yo music has a special place in my heart, and suzumeno tear's debut album showcases not only their min'yo talent but ability to blend with other culture's folk music
if you dont like this album you lack whimsy. one of the most unique and fun picopop albums ever made that i can safely recommend to those who never played the original game. catchy and iconic
when you “yes, and?” someone in comedy, it means you’re adding more to the established joke. unfortunately, with this release it feels like ariana has added nothing particularly of note to her discography, playing it safe to a mediocre degree
