This album was weird
The songs are short, the beats are chill and comforting, while earl raps on them like he is part of the harmony and not over it.
Im definetly not a music expert, but i can say that this was one of the most musically interesting and unique albums ive ever listened to
Wth are critics smoking
I really fucked with bombs in the ville the beat switch was so unecessary and ruined the song imo
Still solid project from cole, i expected a bit more tho since the fall off was so anticipated
This shit is incredibile how did i manage to live without this until now
Ok, it is true that i gas every album i listen to. It is true that nas is the best rapper of all time imo, even if i dont even have enough knowledge to say that probably. But holy shit. There were absolutely no skips here, every song is catchy and has amazing storytelling, the flow is as immaculate as allways. My favourite nas album remains "the lost tapes" (yes, hot take, and yes, ive given it a lower score, but still), but this is probably his best album, even better than illmatic.
Even his first album is great, but you can clearly see how McKinley dixon evolved in time and his style got even better
While it is an incredibile project and a great evolution for the artist, i feel like "Beloved, Paradise, Jazz?" has a lot of more iconic and memorable tracks
After listening to some fo uzi's singles i was expecting to love this album
While the beats are always great, uzi's flow/vocals sometimes dont convince me much. Still liked it
Aight first of all, what the fuck is the critics on?
Anyways, i loved this album with a lot of different flows, beats and bars. It started very strong but got a little weaker towards the middle (i was not expecting spanish jid 💔). Overall, it has no skips imo, but it is not better than the forever story.
Still incredibile album tho
I wish he didnt use the falsetto voice as much, but it is still really really good
Has a similar vibe to daytona, but a sound different enough to make this record a new experience. No skips, amazing ending track
