What made the original special was its raw and honest energy, and yes, also its vulnerability, and all of that is now flatlined, so even if Speak Now TV does sound much better, grander and polished, as a side consequence it doesn’t hit so hard.

Personally, great timing of Björk to put out now a baroque version of Medúlla partially about the death of her mother. Universally, what a beautiful, redemptive album.
