This has to be one of the best debut albums of this century, doesn't get more solid than this when it comes to expressing your own sound and themes.
This is probably one of the most important Latin albums of all time. The solidification of a global star as someone who really had something to say and who was here to stay. And boy did she stay!
Nathy Peluso sounds like no one else on the radio, and by mixing genres and influences and staying true to her innovative and experimental sound, the result is a solid punch of a latin album. It's the first modern album I've heard in a long time that's made me dance in my bedroom as if I was at a street party in Latin America, and at the same time it feels like a new sound, unique to its artist. It's often easy to get lost in the classic latin beat of modern reggaeton as many songs end up sounding similar to the previous one, but in Bad Bunny's smooth and expansive album we are given a full menu of flavours from the innovative Puerto Rican artist. It's the same cuisine, but every dish is to die for. And when you're done with it, you either want to be at a beach, or making out with someone, or dancing the whole night through.
