While the album is undeniably fun and features some great rapping performances, it unfortunately suffers from a somewhat inconsistent tracklist to my ears. Well, the title was not lying, this record was NOT silent. This is easily one of the most abrasive listens I have had in a hot minute, and it was pretty decent.

Este álbum es otra cosa totalmente. En su segundo y último proyecto, Canserbero lanzó fácilmente uno de los mejores álbumes de hip hop de todos los tiempos. This isn’t just an influential classic in Death’s catalog; it’s the album that sparks what might be the greatest four-album run in the history of any genre. It’s honestly insane that this might not even be top three in their discography.

Laughing Stock is easily one of the most influential albums in the post-rock sphere, and as a fan of the genre, listening to this classic felt inevitable. I want to start by saying that I think this album is good, really good, but it does have a few flaws that keep it from being great for me. One of those flaws is that it becomes somewhat oversaturated about halfway through, which makes much of the second half feel like just “pretty good” post-rock. Maybe this is ... read more
