This band just never fails to kick ass
At this point, Death’s slowly becoming one of my favourite metal bands of all time. I just can't get enough of them. This album would be Death’s first attempt at technical death metal, and it goes stunningly.

strong 10, and again, Death doing one of the most important metal records of all time. You can hardly find a more technical and cerebral metal album out there, and IN 1991.
It's out of mind how ahead of its time Chuck Schuldiner was, and Human is another proof of that. Human is proficiency and an example of expertise in many fields of Death Metal, in this case, and to be precise, Tech-Death. Yh, everything just clicks on this record. The riffs are absolutely insane. Every song is packed with memorable guitar work, technical moments, and aggressive energy, but it never turns into mindless shredding.
