Nearly 40 years after its release, it might be a bit tame, but the technicality shines through

Great riffs. They've always been good at doing guitars, so no complaints on that front. They contort thrash and death, letting the sound bloom in the intermingling of thorny veins. The bass and the drums aren't as shining as the guitars but they too do their job with clinical precision and a work ethic that is commendable. Top 5 HARDEST covers ever.

Leprosy is the second installment in Death's legendary discography. The LP combines Thrash and Death metal with great maturity, bringing up themes of horror, punching hard riffs, screamed and raw vocals, high energy and a costant virtuosism in the making.

The strong title track sets uo the bar high as possible, but it's really remarkable how this LP doesn't loose uts appeal during the 38 minutes run. It should have been a little longer? Nah, but I can ... read more
