In Rainbows is my favorite Radiohead album. Kid A is the one that feels like it kept me alive.
If In Rainbows is the spectrum of being human, Kid A is what happens when you’ve gone past language. It doesn’t talk to you. It hums at you. It feels less like a record and more like a lullaby for people who can’t actually sleep.

If I’m being honest, this isn’t even an “album” to me anymore. It’s a place I go.
Radiohead’s In Rainbows is one of those rare things that feels more human than most people I’ve met. Front to back, no skips. It doesn’t have a bad second. It’s one long inhale and exhale of being alive, and somehow it hits every color of that without ever sounding confused.
