never really cared for the foo fighters except for a handful of songs. As a non-fan this sounded like more of the same without any standouts. Pleasant though, I like the first song most.
It's bilmuri but it's also bilmuri. I love how he's just having a good time and I have to remember not to come in expecting to be dazzled by groundbreaking arrangements or fancy material. He has carved a very unique spot in metal and seems to be sticking with it. Singles were definitely the standouts even with a full album listen through, but I know this will grow on me as I listen to it more.
I think they excel in bridge writing but otherwise most the songs don't do it for me. It's good if you take it at face value and can I enjoy it. standout songs would be Why Worry, Too Far Gone, and (Favorite) The Last Song

Only docked low because I'm not a huge country fan. this was good country though. I prefer the 9 extra songs over the original album.
I think the lyrical content is on point and says exactly what it wants to. I think it's actually one of the best outwardly christian metal albums I haven't totally disliked. The only problem that I have is the flow, and way that he delivers some of the lines. Every lyric feels crammed in especially the choruses. Almost all of the songs have this issue.
