'To the Hellfire' is the clear standout here - so intense and fittingly hellish with incredibly surreal vocals. 'Of the Abyss' is another solid track with a great blend of metal and symphonic elements and a fantastic breakdown. Personally I don't enjoy the title track as much as the other two but it still acts as a decent closer.
Just a really solid metalcore album from front to back, both opening and closing with absolute bangers. Super consistent and explosive across the board although I'd say I just slightly favour the first half to the second. 'Reverie' doesn't get as much love here compared to the other tracks but I actually enjoy the sudden change of pace and softer vocals at the midpoint of the record - the eye of the storm if you may - before 'Immolation of Night' picks up where it ... read more
