The music is solid, but the album is just way too long.
Brandy Senkei's debut album is a solid introduction to the group in the album format. The album showcases the band's work over the past three years, from their debut single, Musica, to their latest single, The End of the F***ing World, along with four brand new songs. While the music is good, I find it disappointing that the majority of the album is previously released music. Before listening to the album, I had a feeling that the four new tracks were going to be album fillers to ... read more
I feel like most people are harsh on this record because they don't realize this is what country music used to sound like. Is it a perfect record? No, but for the mid-'50s, this record is as good as they come.
The music isn't bad its just unfinished, the chatter in between songs also ruin it.
The music is great, but the vocals are inconsistent, which becomes apparent as the band behind them is great.
Out-of-touch pop star believes that she is still a force in the pop music sphere, singing songs with no heart or passion. Perry releases the same shit she always does but with somehow worse lyrics. Katy needs to realize that the 2010s are over. If she wants to be the chart-topper she once was, she needs to move on from that type of music and try to emulate the other pop girlies or try out a new thing altogether, but knowing her, if she makes another record, it will just be this shit again.
Just blues covers not really worth listening too unless you want to hear where they started. Tell Me is the only song original on the album is a great song. as for the covers I really like I Just Want to Make Love to You, and Honest I Do.
Solid for a group that doesn't need to be making music anymore.
The strangest stones album ever made with many gems, but some songs due tend to drag.
Even without their smash hit A Whiter Shade of Pale, this album is still a great one and worth a listen.
I might be giving this too high of a score due to it being an important part of my youth but I do genuinely believe that this album should be required listening.
The album is great but I feel like the orchestrated parts don't always transition well into the group.
An interesting album but a tough listen. I love Frownland but the rest of the album is either too complex to enjoy or stupid.
