The story behind this album is so heartbreaking but at the same time it's so inspiring (?). Hayden is a great storyteller and I would love to read a book of hers, but while that isnt possible, I'll stick to her songs. Preacher's Daughter makes me want to write a book about the life of Ethel Cain, about what she went through during childhood, about her father, about Willoughby and how he left her behind.
