Goddamn this shocked me

I've never been a big yung lean fan. I like a couple of his songs and a couple of his features but his whole projects tend to fall flat for me. Bladee on the other hand is an artist who's really grown on me in recent times.

that being said. I REALLY this album. Never did I think possibly my favourite bladee project is a dreamy post punk collab with my least favourite drain gang member but here we are. I fucking love this album.

The subject matter throughout is constantly hopeful yet depressing, with references to suicide being made on songs like hanging from the bridge, but the songs always having a more positive side to them as well. Bladees vocals work insanely well and seeing how his vocals have improved since his early days is awe inspiring, of course not to mention this album having some of my favourite performances from lean.

the production is psychedelic with a lot of post punk/indie rock inspiration and they still rap on this album with the same kind of subject matter both normally do but their vocals and chemistry are off the CHARTS.

not much more I can say other than, I am in shock.

edit: 80 -> 77
still think this project is solid but upon relisten I realise it doesn't do anything super special
