Save for the atrocious album cover, this is one of my favourite pop albums of the 2010's. Take every nice thing i could say about the fame + monster and let it ride for EVERY track with gaga's BEST production choices by far with her most infectious attitude and chorus' all across this thing. While i still maintain her best material was on her monster EP, the highlights on here are not far behind and hell, government hooker is my favourite gaga song and lands on here. Marry the ... read more
An all killer no filler EP that shows gaga at her best in terms of writing, vocals and production choices. Each song is a hit on every front making for my go-to album for just having fun. I love this project and combining it with the original "the fame" as part of the UK deluxe makes for a near perfect project
Its cool. I love the messaging and honestly a lot of the execution is great too but it doesnt stick with me. Love seeing political hip hop get a larger fanbase though, especially coming from northern ireland. It gives me hope that more daring hip hop artists come out from that side of the globe, like maybe a scottish or welsh hip hop artist coming out of the woodwork
Crazy the growth he had from this, to s&d3 and S4L. This is a decent album its definitely not bad at all, but its nothing too interesting given how good he would end up getting and continue to get
Peggy unfortunately broke his streak of dropping aoty contenders by dropping an album that, while not bad, is just kinda fine. His response to the reception is also super lame
The valid criques of "Hey i dont like this album cause you reuse the same flow the entire album and tried to be as unlikeable as possible throughout the rollout"
Versus the response being "You dont like me, and you should stop listening! :( im fighting white supremacy despite formally associating with a ... read more
Khel just keeps getting better and better with each project. Hertz didnt even come out that long ago, the fact that they're this young and talented gives me a lot of hope for their career
Im happy to see this album finally with the must listen, it deserves it
Returning to this one after body of work, its still great. Believe it or not like 2 years ago this album had the highest user rating of any rage album and while i didnt quite agree, it was top 3 for me at the time for sure. Typical rap song 3 has been a gym playlist staple since i first heard this album and the rest of the album stacks up for sure.
Top 3 fav tracks: Typical rap song 3, Me.coM, typical rap song 2
The highlights on here are FANTASTIC. The worldwide scourge is one of the best songs i've heard this years and overall the lyrical subject matter on here is some of the best this year and the genre blending is great. The album is overall definitely worth hearing but i dont exactly see myself returning to it a whole lot
I've become such a big bladee fan over the years and this album is fantastic. Bladee is always doing something new and it's what makes being a fan of his so fun cause not only does dude always experiment, he never misses while doing so.
Top 3: black fire, blondie, under my umbrella
Being tapped in with edward skeletrix since his debut gave me a look at a sort of more experimental version of rage music that i'd wanted to see from the scene, his second album came as a shock to me because it was... not that. While initially earning a mid review from me, it ended up growing on me as the messaging hidden under the confusing sonic palette made it a fantastic relisten. For this very reason i've waited to review this new album and... well shit its fantastic

Turn the six upside down, there's a 9 now.
If you'll forgive the stupid pun, i genuinely dont think this album is quite good enough for the 7, but a 6.5 feels a little too harsh for me rn so yeah, here ya go. This album is bloated and unfocused with plenty of skips. Pop style, childs play, grammys and faithful are all tracks i get nothing out of. One the other side of the coin, 9 is one of drakes most underrated tracks, hotline bling is a song i hated when i was younger but ... read more
Genuinely solid. Not too familiar with kurtains, but i listened to glaive's "Y'all" last year on a whim and i loved it, with it making it into my top 10 records of last year if i recall correctly. This project demonstrates some of the same instrumental selection and great songwriting that i got from that project, but it wasnt nearly as exciting. Kurtains has a really nice voice and it goes well with glaive, even if they're a little too similar to make a super notable ... read more
I didnt even know this dropped and im a fan of the highlights, but bored by everything else. On E, the intro track, push and friend or foe are the former, everything else is... well the latter.
I hope KYI is good but im unsure if it'll reach the heights of rascal 51
you wanna know whats worse than a dogshit B-side album? FUCKING 2 OF EM. Instrumentals on the first 2 songs are alright i guess, but apart from that im just tired. I put all my energy into hating habibti that this just so happened to have even lower lows. I want my 1 hours and 23 minutes back drake, i was fine wasting time on iceman, but this is taking shit way too far and my god i hope these 2 albums flop
update 2:
I had kinda words for iceman... i have none for these 2 side projects.
What a fucking embarassment of an album from one of/the biggest rapper in the world. Dont get it twisted, he didnt drop 2 extra albums to feed the fans or drop some good music, he dropped 2 extra albums so he could take up extra spots on the billboard. A #1 album wasnt enough, he just wanted extra streams.
Content of the album? Not just sleep inducing, straight up rage inducing. Its so fucking boring, and so ... read more
Okay so i went into this fully expecting the same mediocre drake we've been getting for the entire decade. I didnt love any of the singles, what did i miss was the best and it was just okay
Now right the gate, i do have problems. Corny bars and the adin ross shoutout stood out to me. Not that i didnt expect either but oh well. I also expected him to bring up kendrick, but i dont have too much of a problem with it, but it feels like thats what he does on a majority of the album and it just ... read more
Potentially korns best album, and it not being a must-hear honestly kinda suprised me when i first got on here (even if now i kinda understand why a lot of people dont like it like that)
The kinda haunting side of korns music is represented super well after the more fun albums with life is peachy and follow the leader, the latter of which being the most dissapointing album in their discography for its fantastic highs, and painful lows. Issues feels like they produced a follow up to their ... read more
