First half is solid. Second half is just fine. I would always just opt to listen to after hours instead
I dont listen to the foo fighters nearly as much as i used to, but they did the first concert i ever went to and thats a memory i'll love forever, + their last record 'but here we are' is also one of my favourite albums of all time, alongsise my love for wasting light.
The singles did not excite me at all, in fact the title track is imo their worst song of all time. I went into this album with low expectations and they were more or less met. This project feels like their most ... read more
some of yall are far too disrespectful to this project. his most raw and impactful work by far and coupling it with KSG tells a beautiful story of reflection, and then learning to live with your flaws and move past the struggle. Ye strips ye of the grand instrumentals, braggadocios bars (and when they are there, its for a reason), and show stealing features in order to primarily focus on kanye and his struggle. I just wish we could get this sort of thing more from him, especially now.
i think this album is fantastic but its NOT a masterpiece and its not anywhere near as experimental as people say it is. considering death grips and dalek were using a lot of ideas here before yeezus, i think more credit should be given to them then is actually given. However thats not to say this album isnt influential and deserves credit, as nobody else in the MAINSTREAM was doing this at the time.
yknow, i always liked this album, but i never viewed it as one of kanyes best. but something about this project has become such EAR CANDY to me recently. maybe its the fact that the suns out now and summer is coming upon us but oh my GOD this album has been hitting recently.
drunk and hot girls is still a skip though. NO AMOUNT OF PEOPLE COMING OUT OF THE WOODWORKS AND SAYING ITS NOT WILL CONVINCE ME. but thats the only weak spot here, hell i LOVE barry bonds which is generally considered the ... read more
FUCK yes. i already said im loving the quality coming out of the current pop scene, and this carries it on. fuck this summer is gonna be good
best in the underground (cant really consider him undergound anymore, but he's 100% the best in the rage scene rn. especially in terms of pure rapping ability)
Im so bored. Nine is simply not a good enough artist to carry 1 hour 11 minutes by himself. I've tried time and time again, but if this is the best he can do then im gonna finally throw in the towel.
I dont listen to nine wanting to hate everything he puts out. Naturally, when i listen to music i want to like it, and i've found moments that i have actually liked. Studio addict has had moments i like, i liked moshpit on for nothing and B4EM had some of his best stuff to date, even if ... read more
An album with a lot of yeats best tracks, offset by a lot of songs that are nothing special. A few tracks that really do make me understand why some call this yeats best project, but then the full listen just does nothing for me. One song i expected more from is gëëk high, but i get that its early ken so is bound to sound amateurish. I think a newer collab between em could sound great but... yeah thats not gonna happen.
Highlights: poppin, outside, nvr again, luh geek, on tha line, ... read more
Yo i swear this just RECENTLY got the purple must listen
if he patches the album, i'll patch the rating accordingly. Given Ye has said he isn't happy with the mix, and the mixing isnt very good on most of the project, i can see a few updates coming to this. Including versions of the last few tracks without AI. maybe that's wishful thinking and i'm still not gonna forgive that oversight in the first place, but given Ye's mental state, im gonna give him some slack on the AI front as these were (mostly) songs that were released ... read more
im in love with the creativity that we are currently seeing in the modern day pop scene
if this doesnt stay above 80 and potentially get a must listen imma be so mad:
edit 1: IT GOT THE MUST LISTEN LETS GOOOOOO
edit 2: fuck yall
this is fucking FANTASTIC and is prolly gonna end up as my most played rage album by the end of the year, even if i prefer bloodluxe. if stunt and die 3 embraced pop punk, then this project embraces more of the raw punk influences which is EXACTLY what i said i wanted in my S&D3 review i posted yesterday. literally not a SINGLE SKIP.
i love this ... read more
