as someone who has never had much interest in the smiths this album did a good job at captivating me, queen is dead is a very consistent project unlike most albums
best songs: the queen is dead, frankly mr shankly, i know it's over, bigmouth strikes again, there is a light that never goes out
just for clarification i gave space oddity a 100, but alabama song a 10/100
skeleton tree's follow up shares just the same themes, but with a shed of sunlight on the concepts
some songs on this album are genuine masterpieces (just like skeleton tree)
best songs: spinning song, bright horses, night raid, galleon ship, ghosteen, hollywood
this album contains some of the soppiest and cheesiest lyrics i have ever heard in my life
while the songs sound fine, the lyrics are just so poorly written it takes the whole enjoyment out of it
there are only 2 songs on this album that are decent, and everything else is just so unlistenable
best songs: maps, it was always you, sugar
worst songs: unkiss me, in your pocket, feelings, this summer
cmon people it's really not that bad
best songs: everything except jet pack blues
