Maid of Honour is the first album since Pink Tape to get the status of "sneakily mid." Where it's not at all great, but it's not as shit as people claim it is. Outside Tweaking, Princess, True Bestie, and even Cheetah Print slap. Princess is strange becuase it has this shoegaze vibe which was unexpected, but it's still a Drake song so he makes sure to weigh it down with suboptimal vocal performances. Reminds me of some shit I would hear on Kanye's unreleased ... read more

Amazing production. Drake could have gargled Sprite in the background of every song and it still would be a classic. It's a good thing that prime Quinten Miller was cheffing up for these songs, because Drake was flowing on.
Love this album
Maybe I like it more than other people because I expected it to be dogshit based off the leaks. I was pleasantly surprised listening to this album with my free trial on Tidal. Biggest issues are the mixing (nerd emoji) and Ye's verses. TY$ delivered on most tracks. I like the house vibes, PAID is so underrated. Life changing.

People hate on it because they are uneducated, were told to hate it, have bad music taste, hate gospel music, are satan worshippers, hate Kanye, weren't ready for it at the time, are mad he didn't drop Yandhi, are nerds who care about "mixing," hate fun, hate black people, or were made aware of the tiny black dot that's visible in the white spece to the left of the record in the album cover.
Above average. A step in the right direction after the trash that was Vultures 2 and Donda 2. I liked his singles from last year despite the offensive ragebait lyrics and consider this slightly worse. Vultures 1 unfortunatly mogs this album.
Great production and I like that Ye is making efforts to be less cringe as far as the edgy stuff goes. The pitfalls come from the lack of energy and passion in his delivery. Many songs feature aimless and generic lyrics that feel watered down and ... read more
