Smooth while still having energy, catchy while still maintaining it's experimentation. It's the whisky of rap, and it goes down smooth. It's got hard hitting anthems, more subtle tracks, interesting lyrical themes and some of the best production i've heard all year making this trip feel more like a Sunday stroll. However, even with all of these fantastic qualities, the music sounds very directionless. While the sound is consistent, the lyrical themes jump around from topic to topic, making some tracks feel wishy washy or sometimes inconsequential. Either way, it's a nice, entertaining and at times glorious neo-soul record that will have you coming back for more.
