The Cure have always alluded to a more depressing and sad world in their past records, but it's here in Pornography where we fully see that world. And my God is it a interesting world to explore. The music here is dark. The lyrics here are dark. The album, the band, the entire feeling of this wonderfully depressing and insanely sad experience is dark. And it's probably one of the more eye opening and best music listening experiences that I've had in a long time.
