Damn. Glitched out, distant and gorgeously arranged electronic music, with some somewhat corny yet emotional lyrics backed up by some of the best production and beats that I have heard in a while. It's really beautifully constructed, with the electronic elements giving a distant approach to them, so when the more organic elements come into play it makes it feel all the more human. With lyrics extremely telling of Benjamin Gibbard's personal fears and anxiety. It's an extremely interesting and intricate record that demands re-listens to truly connect with, and I indeed on coming back to this record even after my initial listens. For some, the lyrics can come off as pretentious or cringe inducing, but the good stuff is genuinely amazing. This albums many interesting layers are so entertaining to peel back and find out the stories to that it almost becomes a game. If your in the mood for some more moody electronic music, then this should be your next ticket.

Favorite Jams: This Place Is A Prison, Natural Anthem, We Will Become Silhouettes

Lest Favorite: Recycled Air

EDIT: After giving this album a couple more listens, the interesting instrumentation on this album really doesn't do much to save it from itself. I could be listening to much better acts.
