An incredibly joyful and fun album that really represents who the Fishmans are. The majority of this album feels very bright, especially through the production.

A short EP that still should’ve offered more
Favorites: Fine Mess, Thrones, Real Life
I see why they went into hibernation

I did NOT know Kim Petras could make something this great
Favorites: Freak It, Brutalist, 101
While this EP isn’t my favorite, I still love a surprise drop , especially from someone like Freddie Gibbs
Favorite: Axxtion
Imogen Heap will never be overused when it comes to her being sampled in cloud rap
Favorites: Celebrity Deathmatch, Loser Monologue, Kill Everything
(NOTE: Jenny Death is a 10 while People on the Moon is about a 9.5, the 100 rating is more specifically for Jenny Death but I loved both sides)
Truly such a unique album, with both sides being quite different from each other, making it way more special. The heavy use of Bjork’s voice in the production for the first side genuinely felt like it was breaking my brain. The second side still managed to take it a step up with every single song providing very loud, head-breaking beats and ... read more
The bottom half wasn’t as memorable as I hoped it would be, but the first half really did bring so many great melancholic vibes that I was expecting
Favorites: Chromakey Dreamcoat, Dayvan Cowboy, Peacock Tail
Lil Ugly Mane is really the master of many genres, even if it comes down to one album alone. Every song on this felt so bizarre and unique without being too over the top, and it made for a fascinating listen that I didn’t want to end
Favorites: HEADBOARD, VPN, BENADRYL SUBMARINE
Perfect short listen that absolutely had me lost in it
Favorites: Amo Bishop Roden, Kid For Today, In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country
I just know Jpeg’s eyes opened up like he just found gold when he first heard about the Charlie Kirk incident
Anyways, this album was pretty disappointing
Favorites: Burning Hammer, The Ghost of Emmet Till, ¥ (Yen)
I didn’t find anything to really write home about on this album, but it sure showed some great talent. Alvvays still continues to intrigue me quite a bit
Favorites: In Undertow, Saved by a Waif, Lollipop (Ode to Jim)
Everything here was brought together so nicely, especially when it came to production and Owusu’s overall energy
Favorites: STAMPEDE, PIRATE RADIO, THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE
This album feels so incredibly degrading, but I still enjoyed every single second of it
Favorites: Cropsey, Defenestration Song, Emptiness Will Eat The Witch
That damn “you have nowwww entered planet froggg” killed me every time
Favorites: OLYMPIC VINCE CARTER, TRICERATOPS, LEBRON HENNESSEY
Very disappointed by this album, it honestly kinda hurts. The production from surf gang bored me so much and neither Earl or Mike did much to save it. Would’ve been way better if it at least wasn’t a double album and showed their talents together more. It also would’ve helped with the sleepy track length
Favorites: AOK, Home on the Range, Back Home
A few of these tracks surprised me way more than I thought they would
Favorites: The Troubles, The Band, Weston Super Mare
Wasn’t expecting this album to be so relaxing and comfortable, but that’s what made it so great
Favorites: Do You Realize?, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Pt. 1, Are You a Hypnotist??
