Really great. Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross - esque method of blending the music, environment and sound design into the one coherent electro-jazz landscape.
This is a must-listen to any The Fragile fan. If you love music, and if you are composer yourself, this is a square must-listen.
this sounds dope when u are like 999 years old buried deep underground skeleton who can't hear shit
This is a fantastic album, again, like the one before. More refined in every way. Fantastic piece of art and poetry.
I had to listen to it twice to fully grasp it. It is certainly a hard album, both on the side of lyrics and comprehension. First and foremost, The National delivers art poetry, and if you expect pop-like catchy moments, you won't find it here. Instead, you'll find a deeply personal and melancholic catchy moments!
Really great album to sit alone in the night and listen. Certainly an album you should fully dedicate yourself into, it should not be listened on the background.
Great sound, but songs feel week and uninspired, forced in some way, with few exceptions. They should've really done one solid album instead of a two B-side ones.
I guess that's a guilty pleasure. Somebody give my boy Vance Joy some respect, this album at the time was straight fire.
It's really a shame. The first track is an absolute beauty. All others are pretty meh in comparison.
It's okay. Worse than Divinity: Original Sin 2, but still good.
One of the best soundtracks in terms of using complex leitmotif writing since... FF7 Rebirth? Nonetheless, fantastic work. Might be one of my favorites along with Everybody's Gone to the Rapture.
Andrew Prahlow once again proves that he is one of the brightest stars in the industry. Please, never stop writing music, Andrew.
while the quality of the music here is pretty good, I got some kind of a sick unwell feeling from listening to this album. nauseous kinda. Not a good thing to have from music.
On the turning away is a masterpiece. Sorrow is good. Other than that, not enjoyable
