Simple, straight up self-destructive ridden pop-punk. The album is visceral and introspective, with a hint of scarily personal personality for that touch of honesty. The most upsetting part about this album is the fact I didn't find it during my peak teenage edge years.
This album drips with regret and wallows in it long enough until you start to feel yourself dipping your toes into that same sea of nostalgic self-loathing. In one moment, you want to get up and sing and the next, you're lying on the ground sobbing.
As well as boasting some of the best pop-punk lyrics that come close to rivalling early Fall Out Boy, this album is just pop punk at its best without all the pointless melodrama and edginess that follows.
