doesn’t even have to be your favourite to admit that this is a masterpiece with almost no flaws
I had no idea this would be THAT good. Seriously everything she touches never misses. The Pink+White cover is honestly one of my favourite things she's ever released.
Not their best but also not terrible. Grew on me over time. I hated Hit Me Like That Snare and Deadcrush at first but now are some of my favourite Alt-J songs. If it wasn't for House of the Rising Sun and Last Year, 2 what i would consider boring 5+ minute songs. This album would rate way higher.
the vibe that zaba exudes and the imagery created through the abstract but meaningful lyrics and lush production takes me away from whatever im doing in the moment and puts me in this beautiful jungle where i can seriously just chill for 46 minutes straight. every listen i discover something new, something layered deep down in the mix that scratches my brain just right. this was one of the first albums i truly fell in love with and therefore it's a very special one for me too :)
