Let's just forget about how dark this song's successor is, and bop to this song :D
It's a demo for Like A Cab Outta Hell, all three songs in this collection are demos for later songs.
Mom, can we have Gregger (A real B and E-er)?
But son, we already have Gregger (A real B and E-er) at home
Gregger (A real B and E-er) at home:
What happens when you combine two of his worst albums? Nothing except it goes on longer.
The songs are great, for the most part. The main problem, I feel, is that sitcom is almost pitching this to the wrong genre. The indie-rock songs don't feel nearly as comforting as the alternative hip-hop in his previous work. It feels a bit less personal. The vocal effects and guitar don't feel as dreamy, and overall it completely drops whatever made the song Still Life popular. He should've catered to that audience, but instead we have this, which is what he *thinks* we like to ... read more
After finally getting through this, what is there to hate? Benny worm is on there!
In all seriousness, it's a really wonderful album and quite unique (shocker).
Favorites: Richter, just take my wallet, mr. backwards, eyelash
I genuinely hate $4.99. I know, hot take.
Very overrated. This album goes through so many ups and downs to the point where the ups and downs themselves seem meaningless.
Smooth is a solid track, really beautiful opener, followed by Windrag which is a fake-sounding whiny song about an airplane crash that I doubt Jack would relate to. Those two songs are followed by Runaway, which is just a generic love song. I guess you have to have those. Mindsight is the peak of the album, too bad it's so short. Annnnd....followed by another ... read more
Very underrated. Sure the production is messy, but I feel like it just adds to the feeling. Piss in 4/3 is one of his best tracks.
Favorite tracks: Piss in 4|3, Plight of optimism, Be it
Least favorite: U need a break
Graham Kartna, but without everything that makes Graham special. However, I will say I love Lstic.Pal, JPN.Hauntedhouse, and Trppn.Forbiscuits. I think that those songs are some of graham's best. The others, well, are pretty awful.
Edit: My opinions have massively changed on this. Great release but still not his best.
Graham Kartna's darkest album at times. Some tracks feel downright creepy. Love it.
One of my favorite albums. Period. Every song is very catchy and has its own feel. Every song is pretty continuous in style except for databend.
Favorite song: Very tough to name a favorite. Probably OUR
Least Favorite song: Dead Weight (sue me)
Solid album. Not all that different from his other stuff, but it does have lead vocals for some tracks unlike the previous albums. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Favorite track: Coffee Table Book
