Despite being utterly soul-crushing, this album has helped me through many rough moments, particularly Earthmover. The crashing drums, the screeching guitars, this album hits me in all the right ways.

I found glass beach when I was first getting into music freshman year of high school. I would listen to the auto-generated indie playlists and weekly-discover playlists trying to find new music, and those are where i found some of my favorite albums. They are also, I think, where I found bedroom community. I was obsessed with indie rock, and bedroom community stood out from the crowd of, in retrospect, kind of bland songs.
