A really warm album. I listened to it with a coffee, the sun coming in, windows open. It’s just a nice comforting rock vibe that makes my week-end feel better.
This album feels like a sketch really. There’s a quiet tension running through it, like it’s always deciding between holding on or letting go. The sound is minimal and at the same time emotional. And honestly that hits me. You can feel the weight behind even the softest moments.
It might not be polished, but it is kind of real. And that is why it sticks. I’m not sure if I’ll feel the same way after more listens, but for now, I like it.
Hangman’s Chair delivers a masterpiece with Saddiction, an immersive album with melancholic influences. The slow, heavy rhythms create a hypnotic atmosphere, drawing me in deeper every time I listen to it. Initially rated 9.5/10. After several listens, this album proves to be a 10/10 experience.
The last 2 songs are fantastic, if you don't have the time to listen the album you can listen to the 2 last songs.
This album has some good songs, but others you can skip. The sound is not very original, but a few tracks are still enjoyable. Overall, not their best work, but I will listen to some songs again.
Dead Channel Sky is either a great album or a complete mess, maybe both. It sits between genius and chaos, mixing distorted vocals and raw experimentation into something that somehow works. It could be a 9/10 or a 6/10, depending on how you feel.
From Mars to Sirius is a metal masterpiece. Tracks like Global Warming showcase Gojira’s unique, oppressive atmospheres. The songwriting is immersive, supporting a strong concept about the environment.
Metronomy’s The English Riviera is a smooth, stylish indie-pop album that feels like a dreamy summer by the sea. The whole album flows effortlessly, perfect for relaxing.
