I was quite very overwhelmed with some of the songs on the album. I wish that It was a little bit more consistent. There was too much filter on the album. The first half of the album was a really good start but the second half was a hit or miss. Some of the songs did grow on me after a few listens and others just fell flat but I was quite disappointed even though it wasn’t bad it’s a decent album.
I’m not always the biggest fan of Tate McRae, but I do like some of her songs, I didn’t like her last album as much but her new album is not bad I see the vision the production is great but some of the production can be even better I would say, I think three or two songs are a bit boring. From the first few listens I’ve started to like it more it’s very different from the preacher's daughter, and her other projects, and especially listening to it in a loudspeaker sounds way better. I love the dark ambient and drone-hunting sound she’s going for. It was a bit overwhelming the deluxe felt and in completed and it felt very rush. She should’ve took her time with it and made it more cohesive and some of the songs were a bit dull at times, but there are some really good tracks but very little times there are, it wasn’t up there like SOS like but it was still good at times. I wouldn’t say it’s like it’s better than SOS.
This is my first introduction of the flo I haven’t gotten to listen to a full project of flo and I would say the harmonies are amazing and sound really good and especially with the vocals, I really like some of the first half of the songs, but some of the songs were a bit too underwhelming and I think the production could’ve been so much better especially some were kinda boring at sometimes but it’s a decent R&B album.
I’ve always been a fan of poppy artistry and her music and how far she’s come although I wasn’t a fan of her last album I did like some of the songs on it but this new album is really good.
