Little overrated but still a great record.
The production is not amazing but still really good for the time, although gets little bro-ed by Q-Tip's production in the Tribe albums of the time.
The rapping by Nas is amazing, wether it be wordplay, rhymes, flow and he just seems to click with what he's talking about, yet just not quite enough to elevate the album to the 9/10 realm for me.

The most maximist Kanye album ever, in it's production, themes, features and overall quality.
The production here is arguably Kanye's best ever as his signature soul sampling & looping is still present, yet takes a backseat for single instrument focused beats on many of the tracks.
