You know when Winnie the Pooh had that nightmare? Yeah.
Me and my friend are showing each other albums that we think we will hate. They knows me very well, I DO hate this! This is just about as bad as an album can get before it starts to become actively painful to listen to. Its supposed to get worse from here, wish me luck.
Not quite sure how to rate a three track ep, but 1fish2fish is amazing
I kind of dislike a lot of individual songs on this album, but it comes together to be a really intriguing experience. what the fuck is going on.
Highly recommend listening to this with a ween fan who can tell you background information about the songs on here. The trivia is pretty fun. Bonus points if they're from the area this album was recorded from. SpongeBob, documentation of the downfall of a relationship, old folk song. Pretty cool!
My favorites: Mutilated Lips, Cold Blows The ... read more
This album has next to nothing to say. It’s so incredibly generic, and although I do enjoy some of the songs on here, I cannot get over how they just blend together without forming anything bigger than itself.
the podcast is kinda like the Magnus Archives lite. The music is 100x better, though
This album is genuinely incredible, I do not give this rating lightly. I cannot wait to listen to this album on a rainy summer night
My friend showed this album to me on call, and I listened to it walking around a pond looking at the blooming trees. The rain kept trying to fall but couldn't quite make it past an occasional drizzle. What a lovely experience.
Nowhere is my favorite. I'm surprised this person isn't more popular, because there definitely an audience for this (Chonny Jash fans would probably love it, I can see the inspiration there.) Also kinda reminds me of Jhariah. Has a bit of a rough opening, and The Mind Electric cover is honestly pretty mid, but there's something here
I didn't enjoy a single second of this and actively hated much of it, but I also didn't want to rip my ears off so I guess it's not enough to warrant a zero. This is terrible.
The words painted such beautiful imagery, it's a shame they aren't really able to understood without looking at the lyrics. The instrumentals are wonderful. All the songs blend together, and I honestly could not tell you the name of any of them. Pretty much none of them really stuck out to me. This is something that I usually hate in an album, but I think it kinda works here. It's very vibe-based. That vibe is the same throughout the album, but it works.
It has some good parts, but my god the lows are so low. And there are a lot of them.
its really, really boring. I do like A Day in The Life, though
There’s nothing wrong with this album, I just personally don’t like it
It’s showtunes. I don’t get what all the hate is about. idc if the show is questionable, the music had a massive jump in quality in the second season. I’ve noticed that animated musicals have a pretty different style in music to traditional musicals, and I generally prefer the animated type.
Good as a compilation, not so fun listening to the whole thing start to finish. Love some of the extra things we get from this that we didn't get from Hawaii: Part II
the songs bleed into each other, and even within the songs themselves there's usually not a whole lot of difference between any one point within them
