You know when Winnie the Pooh had that nightmare? Yeah.

Me and my friend are showing each other albums that we think we will hate. They knows me very well, I DO hate this! This is just about as bad as an album can get before it starts to become actively painful to listen to. Its supposed to get worse from here, wish me luck.

The Stereosexuals - Bigger than yours

Not quite sure how to rate a three track ep, but 1fish2fish is amazing

Ween - The Mollusk

I kind of dislike a lot of individual songs on this album, but it comes together to be a really intriguing experience. what the fuck is going on.

Highly recommend listening to this with a ween fan who can tell you background information about the songs on here. The trivia is pretty fun. Bonus points if they're from the area this album was recorded from. SpongeBob, documentation of the downfall of a relationship, old folk song. Pretty cool!

My favorites: Mutilated Lips, Cold Blows The ... read more

They Might Be Giants - Flood

I see where lemon demon gets the influence from

Rob Cantor - Not a Trampoline

This album has next to nothing to say. It’s so incredibly generic, and although I do enjoy some of the songs on here, I cannot get over how they just blend together without forming anything bigger than itself.

Joe Hawley - Joe Hawley Joe Hawley

I occasionally relisten for tally hall’s sake, but uh…. Hm.

Will Wood - Camp Here & There (Original Series Soundtrack)

the podcast is kinda like the Magnus Archives lite. The music is 100x better, though

Electric Light Orchestra - Out of the Blue

This album is genuinely incredible, I do not give this rating lightly. I cannot wait to listen to this album on a rainy summer night

Mort Garson - Mother Earth's Plantasia

My friend showed this album to me on call, and I listened to it walking around a pond looking at the blooming trees. The rain kept trying to fall but couldn't quite make it past an occasional drizzle. What a lovely experience.

SlightlyCubic - Facade's Departure

Nowhere is my favorite. I'm surprised this person isn't more popular, because there definitely an audience for this (Chonny Jash fans would probably love it, I can see the inspiration there.) Also kinda reminds me of Jhariah. Has a bit of a rough opening, and The Mind Electric cover is honestly pretty mid, but there's something here

Captain Beefheart - Trout Mask Replica

I didn't enjoy a single second of this and actively hated much of it, but I also didn't want to rip my ears off so I guess it's not enough to warrant a zero. This is terrible.

Cojum Dip - Cojum Dip

I like the astronomical songs

Candy Claws - Ceres & Calypso in the Deep Time

The words painted such beautiful imagery, it's a shame they aren't really able to understood without looking at the lyrics. The instrumentals are wonderful. All the songs blend together, and I honestly could not tell you the name of any of them. Pretty much none of them really stuck out to me. This is something that I usually hate in an album, but I think it kinda works here. It's very vibe-based. That vibe is the same throughout the album, but it works.

Hazbin Hotel - Hazbin Hotel: Season One (Original Soundtrack)

It has some good parts, but my god the lows are so low. And there are a lot of them.

The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
48

its really, really boring. I do like A Day in The Life, though

Marty Robbins - Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs
55

There’s nothing wrong with this album, I just personally don’t like it

Hazbin Hotel - Hazbin Hotel: Season Two (Original Soundtrack)
66

It’s showtunes. I don’t get what all the hate is about. idc if the show is questionable, the music had a massive jump in quality in the second season. I’ve noticed that animated musicals have a pretty different style in music to traditional musicals, and I generally prefer the animated type.

ミラクルミュージカル [Miracle Musical] - Hawaii: Part II: Part ii

Good as a compilation, not so fun listening to the whole thing start to finish. Love some of the extra things we get from this that we didn't get from Hawaii: Part II

Mitski - Nothing's About to Happen to Me

the songs bleed into each other, and even within the songs themselves there's usually not a whole lot of difference between any one point within them

"Yeah I don't think I would ever listen to something like this out of my own free will lmao. It was recommended to me"
On August's review of ミラクルミュージカル [Miracle Musical] - Hawaii: Part II
"Part I does not exist. From its creators, "Part II" can refer to at least three things. According to Joe Hawley, it refers to both the parting of two souls and the twin towers. According to Bora Karaca, it refers to Hawaii leading to the other side of something, like a mirror image or the second level or stage. Part II does not imply a part I, it is the next step, or the other side."

On ミラクルミュージカル [Miracle Musical] - Hawaii: Part II
"It’s not bad by any means, I just happen to like all of the other songs more. I prefer more upbeat songs by default and usually only listen to slower songs in specific settings or in certain moods or at night. (or when listening to them as part of an album). I love stranded lullaby, I just personally don’t find myself going out of the way to listen to it AS often as I do with the other songs. It is still an absolute masterpiece of a song regardless."
