This is such a weird album for me. It’s either I love it one day or I can’t stand it the next. Hilariously enough, I find it easier to get into Exmillitary than TMS despite how it’s the easiest Death Grips album to get into. I’m gonna give it another spin later on and see how I feel.
It’s pretty forgettable most of the time, but I go back to this for tracks like Sgt. Baker and American Life.
First Aphex record and what a hellava debut album. I know it’s cliché to say this but this album REALLY does have a something for everyone. Almost every track on this thing has a different style and charm to it. However, it’s not ambient.
