McKinley Dixon - Magic, Alive!
NR

Great delivery, some cool jazzy sounds and switch ups, can be a little wild at times though. This also might be a skill issue but I struggled to follow the lyrical story and the songs didn't hook me to make me want to come back and listen again. So I've kind of pushed myself to listen to it more often because I obviously see the value in the record.

Wet Leg - moisturizer
NR

Best way I can define this is quirky. Which means it's fun, but also a little odd with the lyrics sometimes. Pretty standard indie rock stuff but does have some good catchy songs that get stuck in your head.

Inhaler - Open Wide
NR

This album takes me back to high school with the 2010s indie vibes, it reminds me so much of the band COIN which I was obsessed with. Songs like A Question Of You are really fun and make me feel like I'm back in that era. Album starts off strong but kinda fades as it goes on.

Natalia Lafourcade - Cancionera
NR

It's not something I listen to very often but I always appreciate her stuff. Some very cute songs like Cocos En La Playa and El Palomo y La Negra which enjoy coming back to.

Men I Trust - Equus Asinus
NR

I can't be too harsh when it was meant as a two album release, and I appreciate them having their own different sounds. That being said, I don't really return to this one.
