Great delivery, some cool jazzy sounds and switch ups, can be a little wild at times though. This also might be a skill issue but I struggled to follow the lyrical story and the songs didn't hook me to make me want to come back and listen again. So I've kind of pushed myself to listen to it more often because I obviously see the value in the record.
Best way I can define this is quirky. Which means it's fun, but also a little odd with the lyrics sometimes. Pretty standard indie rock stuff but does have some good catchy songs that get stuck in your head.
It's not something I listen to very often but I always appreciate her stuff. Some very cute songs like Cocos En La Playa and El Palomo y La Negra which enjoy coming back to.
I can't be too harsh when it was meant as a two album release, and I appreciate them having their own different sounds. That being said, I don't really return to this one.
Certainly the better of the two new albums they dropped. Some cool sounds but overall still much of the same Men I Trust we're used to.
Two new albums dropped this year by them and yet THIS is the one that's stood out for me. It's pretty amazing how they can take already great songs and make them even better. Serenade Of Water and Ring Of Past on here are perfect perfect.
Somehow this has become my favorite late night chill background album. 20 minute songs yet it doesn't feel like it drags at all. Nice and vibey, very pleasant to listen to.
Incredible production, Kali really delivered on that end. Fairly concise as well which has been an issue of hers, although maybe on the lengthy side. The lyrics hold it back a little this time around. Overall though it's pretty crazy how she can put out high quality stuff so often AND literally have a baby.
stereolab are back to some of their best. Always enjoyed their sound, it's not anything crazy but still pretty nice.
I think she's doing some cool stuff but it didn't have the same lasting impact on me as some other similar pop records have had.
Incredible sound, incredible song progressions and guitar abilities. Some of my favorite rock music of the year. The song Rat With Wings is an perfect highlight of what she can do and I'd recommend it to everyone.
Fuck Me Eyes and Nettles are some of the best songs of 2025 and the album is sonically very impressive, albeit a little hard to endure fully through.
I heard Leave Me Alone as a single and I was like oh shit maybe she's got some cool stuff up her sleeve but the rest of the album does not keep that energy going unfortunately.
Nose on the Grindstone is a great song and there's some fun songs in there but there's also some weirder songs lyrically/instrumentally which threw me off.
She's green for an amazing reason. Great refreshing shoegaze, would love to hear more from them.
Production continues to impress me every time. With a little more work on the lyrics this could be something incredible.
It starts off strong, kinda fades in the middle, and gets better towards the end. I think he could've done a lot more in terms of mixing together the different styles because towards the middle it just kind of sounds like any other bad bunny record. I'll admit I can't follow the lyrics that clearly so my critiques mostly come from the music itself.
