It's hard for me to review this album because of just how much I love it. I love this album with all my heart and soul, and it's been the soundtrack for such a big part of my life. Se So Neon’s first album is disappointing in a major way. Each of their past works, starting from summer plumage to nonadaptation to their flurry of recent singles, have shown growth and evolution and what I think is great music. This isn't really something you'll put on when your life's great; It's music you listen to after a messy breakup, a broken friendship, the loss of a loved one. While maybe objectively not as innovative or ground-breaking as other works, Nonadaptation is one of my favorite albums ever. SoYoon's voice can convey so much emotion, and is a huge reason why I love this album (or EP) so much. Her unique voice fits the songs so well, being especially highlighted in songs like Winter.
